Arnaud Baillot Savigny-lès-Beaune Rouge 2022 comes from a young but dynamic négociant-producer based in Beaune. Together with his wife Laure (granddaughter of Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat), Arnaud Baillot has quickly gained recognition for producing precise and elegant Burgundies that showcase the character of each appellation. The domaine works with carefully selected parcels across the Côte d’Or, making only limited quantities each year.
Savigny-lès-Beaune is located just north of Beaune in the Côte de Beaune, known for producing approachable yet age-worthy Pinot Noir with finesse and charm. The 2022 vintage was generous and balanced, yielding wines with ripe red fruit and freshness.
This cuvée shows aromas of cherry, raspberry, and rose petal, with hints of spice and earth. On the palate, it is elegant and supple, with fine tannins and a smooth finish. While enjoyable now, it has the structure to develop further over the next 7–10 years.
A classic example of Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir, it pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, mushroom dishes, or soft cheeses. With limited production and growing demand, Arnaud Baillot’s wines represent both quality and rarity in Burgundy.
