Château Siran is the result of a subtle blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, which reflects the identity of its terroir. The relatively high percentage of petit verdot brings a spicy note that reinforces the unique character of Siran’s wines.
Both powerful and subtle, Siran’s wines always seek a balance between the softness of the tannins, the intensity of the fruit and a persistent freshness. Siran wines are known for their aging potential, even long aging that will delight the most patient.
“A vintage where the freshness of the fruit and elegance are paramount.”
Despite the capricious climatology, this vintage is the result of continuous work in the vineyard. Patience and vigilance are the key words on the eve of the harvest. Finally, a great deal of work in sorting the grapes allows us once again to make a wine of excellent quality that is faithful to the Médoc terroir and Siran’s identity, elegant and long-lasting.
Blend: 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot.
