A classic, rich and juicy Saint-Emilion, with cedar aromas, smooth fruit and an appetizing dry finish.
Château La Guerinière is a traditional St. Emilion, showing cedary aromas, succulent Merlot fruit and a dry, chalky finish. On this Right Bank of Bordeaux, the predominance of Merlot in the blend gives wines of richness with balancing acidity.
Guérinière is located in the villages of Saint-Pey-d’Armens and Saint-Hippolyte, and the vineyards cover 15ha (37 acres) on sandy soils. The vines average 30 years of age.
The vineyard is farmed according to sustainable principles, including grassing the rows between vines. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, and ageing in concrete. Guérinière will continue to improve for 10 years after the vintage. The property is owned by the Rambaud family.
