This cuvée, always produced as a vintage, is only made when the year has been exceptional and the demanding quality criteria have een met. It is made from 30% Chardonnay. Grand Crus from the Côte de Blacs region and 70% Pinot Noir from the Grand Crus from the Montagne de Reims. This wine owes the secret of its uniqueness to the 15% of still red wine which is addedto the blend. It is the Champagne house’s rarest cuvée. Long aging in the cellars give silky balance between red berries and toasted notes.
