Gris is a french name to describe the color of a light rose wine. A blend of 90% Grenche and 10% Carignan. A delicate nose with grapefruit and white peach notes. Fresh and soft palate with a beautiful balance and finish. Perfect as an aperitif, with grilled meat or fish and Asian cuisine. Made from pale-skinned Grenache Gris from 10 to 20 year-old vines and 10% Carignan, "direct press" method is used to create a very pale rosé; grapes are pressed slowly and the juice is run-off without time in contact with the skins.
