From the historic Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi estate at Castello di Nipozzano in the Chianti Rufina zone, this Riserva 2021 reflects both tradition and terroir. The hillside vineyards enjoy elevation and airflow, providing Sangiovese grapes with the ideal conditions to achieve balance and finesse.

Frescobaldi Nipozzano Chianti Rufina Riserva 2021 opens with aromas of wild cherry, violets, and a touch of Mediterranean herb. On the palate, it’s medium- to full-bodied with bright acidity, smooth yet present tannins, and flavours of red berry, dried plum and spice. The finish is clean, poised and invites both immediate enjoyment and short-term ageing.
